For those concerned that the responses came from the

PA Senate GOP:

March 23, 2021

Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. I reached out to Chairman Langerholc and had this issue taken care of immediately. This is a bipartisan committee and, going forward, all responses will come from a neutral email address. As a committee member, I will get a copy of all of the responses.

I’m looking forward to working with this Special Committee to address many of those deficiencies in Act 77 in a way that makes voting more accessible, more secure, and more uniform for all Pennsylvanians across the Commonwealth.

Thank you for being engaged with your state government. If there is ever anything else that my staff and I can do to help you, please do not hesitate to reach out by email or phone.

  1. I am 76 beat cancer twice have had surgery, chemo and radiation treatments & appreciate not having to go to the place of voting I’ve not been out of our building since March 2019 today is March 20/2021 with the exception of going out upon my balcony.i don’t own a car either.i do so appreciate mail in voting BLESSINGS everyone 💕

  2. My experience with mail in ballots was smooth, efficient, and thorough. I really appreciated not having to risk going to the polling place and had no problem filling it out and voting at home. I believe this is a great method of voting safely and easily. Voting SHOULD be easy and accessible to all people and to put unnecessary restrictions on the process is simply voter suppression.

  3. It gets more people to vote
Takes the pressure off if not being able to get to the polls on Election Day

  4. I appreciate the opportunity to vote by mail. It was more convenient and safer than going to the polling place especially during the pandemic. I’m in favor of continuing this for the future so that as many people can participate as possible.
I also think pre-canvassing is needed so votes can be tabulated in a timely manner.

  5. I travel out of state and it works better for me to do mail in.
Also, I will be 86 soon and it is very hard to stand for long periods, especially bad weather. Please keep mail ins.

  6. It’s getting more complicated for me to go to the polling place. I need to load and unload the walker. The worst part however is the aggressive gauntlet of opposition party canvassers who crowd the entrance and are promoting their wares until you’re inside. Makes me angry every time. Mail in lets me easily and comfortably focus on the task at hand.

  7. Mail in ballots are so important for people who do not have transportation to get to voting places
Mail in ballots help protect everyone from the Covid pandemic.
Eliminating mail in ballots is a way to suppress voters from voting.
