This is a reminder, that if you want to participate in the “Dauphin Co. Neighborhoods Want Fair Districts” project at one of the 5 pre-selected locations, please submit the RSVP form by THIS TUESDAY, June 1. Photo shoots at any of the locations without at least 4 participants on 6/2 will be cancelled. At that time, anyone who already signed up for a cancelled location will be notified and given the opportunity to join a different group. (The RSVP will still be available after 6/1, but possibly with a shorter list of options.)
Please help us demonstrate that ALL Dauphin Co. neighborhoods, be they rural, suburban, small town or urban, wantfairdistricts. Come to be photographed along with your neighbors at one of 5 these different times & locations across Dauphin County. For your photo shoot:
If you have a Fair Districts tee-shirt or pin, please wear it. We will supply some signs and a banner for the photo, but FEEL FREE TO MAKE YOUR OWN SIGN. No partisan signs or paraphernalia, please.
Invite family, friends, and neighbors to join you. We want this to be somewhat light-hearted, so feel free to bring children and well-behaved pets.
Photos will be shared on social media, with news outlets, and with our elected representatives.
Let’s get together to show support for LACRA and redistricting reform, and have some fun doing it!
P.S. If none of these times and locations suit your schedule, you are welcome to take your own photo with your friends/family/neighbor to show support for redistricting reform. We can supply signs and banners, and offer additional support if needed. Feel free to contact me at sc.fdpa@gmail.com for more information.
