November 20, 2019 –
PennFuture is partnering with Climate Reality Project to host an educational forum on the climate crisis as part of the 24 Hours of Reality campaign. (https://www.24hoursofreality.org/) The event is intended to inform residents of central Pennsylvania about the climate crisis, and to empower them by showing them that they can make a difference by becoming actively engaged in their communities.
The event will feature a panel discussion and breakout session so attendees can network and connect with local environmental advocacy organizations. Other groups in attendance will include Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania, FracTracker Alliance, Interfaith Power and Light, among others.
The event will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on November 20 at the Dixon University Center Board Room at 2986 N 2nd St in Harrisburg.
