On Wednesday, October 12th, the Hershey Indivisible Team will welcome Sergeant Anthony Clements of the Derry Township Police Department as their featured speaker. The topic is a timely one: Gun Sense in Pennsylvania. After a basic explanation of terms and laws, Sergeant Clements will be happy to answer questions from attendees.
With so many bills being considered in both the state and federal legislatures, residents of Derry Township are wondering, “Why should teachers have guns in school?” and “What are the requirements to purchase a gun in PA?” Many other timely questions will also be addressed.
The Police Department is also involved in conducting Active Shooter Drills for organizations interested in scheduling such a potentially life saving session.
