Hershey Indivisible Team promotes nonviolence, civil discourse and peaceful action as the only way to support our nation’s promise of the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for all.

Our lives are enriched by those with whom we disagree, as well as by those whose values closely align with our own.

We condemn all violence.

WHAT WE DO

  • Provide educational programs with quality speakers to inform us on current issues

     

  • Organize and participate in local rallies

     

  • Make phone calls, send postcards, and register voters

     

  • Research the positions of our elected officials and candidates to enable honest discussion

     

  • Communicate with elected officials with polite, persuasive language

     

  • Gather socially

     

OUR ORIGINS

Hershey Indivisible Team (HIT) is the local counterpart to the national Indivisible movement. Founded in response to the 2016 election, Indivisible began as a practical guide to resist an extremist agenda, elect local champions, and fight for progressive policies. While HIT is its own separate, independent organization, we look to national Indivisible for information and leadership on key issues.

Action by action, day by day, group by group, Indivisibles are reclaiming our democracy.
